Run for Relief

On Saturday November 20, 2010 at 11:00am the UBC Red Cross Society is hosting it's second annual Run for Relief, a 5km run/walk on UBC campus.  It costs $15 to participate or $10 if participants register before Monday November 15th.

All proceeds go towards the Canadian Red Cross International Disaster Relief Fund. Participants are encouraged to fundraise and prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers and race finishers. There will also be t-shirts and food for all participants as well as raffle prizes for those who are interested in buying raffle tickets at the event.

Wednesday November 10 from 11-2pm outside of Ladha

Friday November 12 from 11-2pm outside of the SUB on the North Side (facing Brock Hall)

Wednesday November 17 and Friday November 19 from 1-3pm in room 64 of the SUB

Online sign-up can be completed by emailing your name, student number, phone number, t-shirt size, approximate finish time, and if you will be fundraising for this event to Amy Davis at amyd6@interchange.ubc.ca. Money that is fundraised as well as the participation fee can be handed in on the day of the event.

Please show up on the day of the event at 10:30am so that all participants can be signed in. We will be meeting in room 42T in the basement of the SUB (located near the doors on the North Side beside the bike co-op).
