- Updated training to reflect recent changes to the Guidelines for CPR and Cardiovascular Care.
- Certification valid for 3 years with Red Cross First Aid Handbook.
- Comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR .
- Taught by a certified Lifesaving Society First Aid Instructor with hands on equipment.
- Learn to recognize and treat injuries including head and spinal, soft tissue, facial, abdominal and chest, burns, bone and joint, and other common medical emergencies.
The UBC International Red Cross offers basic First Aid CPR-C courses once or twice per term. This handy course is not only very practical to have but is useful when job searching as many jobs require someone with First-Aid training. This First-Aid CPR-C certification is taught by experienced instructors and lasts for three years. We offer this course to everyone for a low price, but our members receive a discount because we love our members. The course (certification) is completed over 2 days during the weekends. Recertification courses are one day only, also during a weekend.
