Polar Bear Dip
The Polar bear dip is a relatively new event that started five years ago to raise money for our appeal. The event is usually held in late January. All the participants gather at Wreck Beach and jump into water in their swimsuits (or the attire of your choice). We also provide hot food such as yummy pizzas, fresh pastries, and warm beverages to keep you energized. We will also have raffle prizes! If you participate in the dip you will be entered in the raffle. We always have professional lifeguards and first aid personnel in case of emergencies. This is a wonderful chance to just be adventurous, meet many interesting people, and raise money for a good cause. If you have any questions please email ubcredcross@gmail.com.
